  • What type of electric toothbrush should I buy?

    We think a brush head that is round and oscillates back and forth is the best.

  • When should I start bringing my child to the dentist?

    It is best to have your child’s first appointment before the third birthday, but you can bring him/her in after their first tooth appears.

  • How many times a day should I brush my teeth?

    You should brush your teeth at least twice a day. If possible, it is better to brush them after each meal.

  • Should I floss my teeth?

    To help remove plaque buildup, you should floss at least once a day.

  • What is a dental implant?

    An implant is a tooth or teeth that replace one or more missing teeth. It is anchored in the bone and functions much like natural teeth.

  • What causes gum disease?

    Gum disease is a bacterial infection caused by a build up of plaque. Signs of this disease are bleeding gums and loose teeth. Gum disease can usually be prevented by effective brushing and flossing and routine dental cleanings. Once you have been diagnosed with the disease it must be treated by a dentist or dental hygienist.
